Classical Quadrivium Research for the UK

Athanasian Hall is an independent body of scholars of the classical Quadrivium who draw on the diverse resources of the world's finest mathematical institutes. Athanasian Hall is a pure research consortium, not a teaching institution, and does not accept students or confer degrees. Fellowship at Athanasian Hall does not confer any right or title of the University of Cambridge, although fellows who do not meet the requisite standard for affiliation at the University of Cambridge will not ordinarily be renewed after a 3-year probation. Senior Fellows are encouraged to begin applying to some specialism of the Quadrivium at a Cambridge college or institute during their first year of fellowship, and Junior Fellows are expected to complete a PhD in some specialism of the Quadrivium within 6 years, preferably from the University of Cambridge or an affiliated institute. Members of the UK MAGIC Consortium may apply for Senior Fellowship at Athanasian Hall on an expedited basis, and are considered Fellows by courtesy (if desired), without a necessary plenary vote of the faculty.

2022-2025 Institute Administrators are leading scholars in their fields as well as highly competent managers of the complex tasks required to operate an interdisciplinary research institute. They possess the referenced rank and retain this rank indefinitely after relevant administrative duties are performed.
