The Isaac Newton Mathematical Institute is a leading interdisciplinary research body and constituent of the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge. Affiliated scholars conduct fundamental research in Gravitation, Quantum Field Theory, Functional Analysis, and Differential Operators, among other fields. Permanent fellows of Athanasian Hall are encouraged to attend events at the Institute as their time permits. Permanent fellows are also encouraged to contribute talks, manuscripts, and other scholarship at associated conferences. Fellowship at Athanasian Hall does not confer any associate status at the Isaac Newton Institute or the Cambridge Mathematical Institute. These must be applied for separately, although other Athanasian fellows may act as nominators.
